Cinnamon Air and domestic air services enforce strict ICAO lithium battery dangerous goods codes on Cessna Caravan amphibious operations. Spare LiPo batteries must travel exclusively in passenger carry-on baggage; loose batteries in checked aircraft pontoon pods are confiscated. Batteries under 100Wh require no operator approval (capped at 10 spares). Packs between 100Wh and 160Wh require prior airline notification (capped at 2 spares). All battery terminals must be insulated with electrical tape and packed into fireproof fiberglass LiPo safety bags.

Discharge flight packs to storage voltage (3.8V per cell, ~30% capacity) before airport arrival; fully charged batteries expand in warm unconditioned seaplane cabins.

Weigh your carry-on accurately; amphibious aircraft operate with strict 5kg hand luggage limits due to tight passenger weight and balance manifests.
