Situated at the southern precipice of the central highland escarpment, clear early mornings (6:00 AM to 8:30 AM) provide panoramic views across seven southern provinces, spanning down to the Indian Ocean coastline and Hambantota lighthouse. After enjoying sunrise from the platform, hikers can walk the scenic 7-kilometer downhill trail through the terraced tea bushes of Dambatenne Estate, ending directly at the historic Dambatenne Tea Factory for an orthodox processing tour.
