We walked two streets off the postcard strip in Jaffna and asked for rice. The first grill is never the plate. Shoes you can stand in, not the pretty pair.
Pool and a garden beat a named wash. Ice out, peel fruit, rice if the stall will still steam it. Not a blotter. Water in the bag beats a maybe stall.
