Need a sit at Batticaloa. Tourist terrace looks dry and priced like Colombo. Bakery two lanes in has a queue of locals and plastic chairs. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Walk two lanes. The terrace is a pretty courtyard with tourist prices. Nobody is scamming you; they are just pricing for the terrace. A bakery bun and tea is the ordinary sit. If you want the courtyard photo, have one drink and leave. Do not camp a four-top for email. If the kid is melting now, pay the soda, ten minutes, move. Shade is the need, not the brand.
Stay on if the board is the board. Gampola-style linger is how you miss the clock.
