Locals packing kids into tuk-tuks while dancers still fill the street. Is early bedtime peel common this late, or are we misreading almost done. Not a toddler meltdown walk-back, and not a toddler asleep on a shoulder keep-standing question.

Often bedtime, not the parade ending — families peel when kids are done even while the cortege keeps moving. Do not treat local kid-tuks as proof the night is finished. Watch dancer density and ceremonial blocks, not who is leaving.
If your kids are still happy, you can stay; local peels are not a schedule cue.
One adult can walk a sleepy child back while the other stays — agree a return text time.
