A surge split us after a long occupied stand. Last lit shop we were at, or walk out to the two-way road and wait.

Last lit shop first. Stand still for ten minutes. The two-way is the fallback if nobody returns, not the first move.

We stayed at the shutter and they found us. Walking out first just makes two lost groups.

If kids are with the lost adult, the two-way is safer than hunting through the surge.
