Friday 28 Aug, Kandy is ordinary town once the night cortege is done. We are at Bahirawakanda steps with tired legs. Train in two hours. Festival ended today after Dahawal, no night restart. Asking before we pay a leftover tout. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork.

Friday Kandy is ordinary town. Courtyard if you cover and the queue is not a story. Then leave. Dahawal 2:18 is optional daylight, not a night kerb. No restart. Lived pin: Bahirawakanda steps with tired legs.

One soda, ten minutes, moved. Shade is the need, not the brand.

Harbour morning, no whale. We drank tea. Pride waited for a guarantee.
