Maligawa courtyard on an ordinary Monday — still a queue without a perahera, or can we just walk in

Leftover from Friday in our heads. White cloth still in the bag. Shoes we can dump. I know there is no restart. I do not know if Monday courtyard is empty or still a blob.

Ordinary queue, shoes off, shoulders covered, no cortege. It is a working temple on a Monday. No reserved kerb, no balcony, no drums you have to time. Walk in, be decent, leave. Kandy is a town again.

Twenty-five minutes. Fine. White shirt unnecessary. Covered shoulders were.

Anyone outside selling a 'tonight they might' is selling air.

Do the lake loop after if the kid still has legs. It is a lake.
