Dark at Kalkudah. Last van gone. Lane has dogs. App is spinning. Ordinary bags. Elder. Monday 31 Aug. We can pay a short hop. We will not hunt a pin in a side lane. Ordinary town Monday, not a festival. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Pin the main road. PickMe finds the Kalkudah main road; night is not a hunt. Pay the silly last-bit if the lane has dogs. Write the number before the bag goes in. Walk off cones, then pin. Raja is still not a car park anywhere. I will not invent a night tariff. Screenshot before data dies.

We took the quieter fork at Kalkudah. Fine. No one clapped.

Covered, went in twenty minutes, left. Street is mixed. Inside is not.

We sat the bakery chairs, walked the terrace after. Fine. One soda was enough.

Hang the damp set. Packing wet for a hop is how rooms smell.

Rice was still steaming two streets off. First grill was tired oil.
