Elder in tow, Midigama. Tangalle after Matara, one more hop or sit. We can pay a bit more for the easier version.

Ordinary move: slow down, pay the small boring option, and do not invent a shutdown from this. Bulletin 18 Amber is still valid until 10:30 Tuesday 1 September. Hambantota to Pottuvil can be rough with 50-60 kmph gusts. Waves 2-3 m Negombo to Pottuvil via Colombo, Galle and Matara. Inundation possible Beruwala to Matara via Galle. Vigilance, not a town tape, not a swim ban. South-west stay/go is a room choice, not a gazette. In Midigama, tangalle after Matara, one more hop or sit is a hop problem, not a gazette. Kids change the trade.

We pushed through Midigama once with wrecked kids and hated the next day. Sit if they are done. Call the desk before you guess.

Walk only if bags are light and the lane is lit. Otherwise pay. Midigama after dark is not a principle. Then the room.
