We missed the water-cutting at Gatambe overnight. Day Perahera is still at 2:18 from Asgiri. Watch that, or skip and leave Kandy this morning after already seeing Final.

Watch Day if you can hold the afternoon. Diya is not a public street show the way Day is. Missing Gatambe is normal for travelers. Final plus Day is a full set.

We skipped Day after Final and were fine. Day is shorter and hotter. Only stay if you want the daytime close.
