South-coast guesthouse week ahead. Are mosquito nets still worth insisting on, or is a good spray-and-closed-window habit enough for ordinary rooms this week.

Ask for a netted bed if you sleep with windows cracked. Spray helps at dusk; nets help through the night when you forget a re-spray.

Both is ideal. If the room only has spray, treat ankles and keep the door shut when the hall light attracts insects.
