Mosquitoes biting ankles on a lake-side stretch an hour after sunset. Reapply from a small tube, or just pull socks up and ignore. Not mosquito spray once more on arrival after sunset, and not afternoon reapply planning.

Pull socks up and reapply a small tube if you still have it — lake-side stretches stay bitey an hour after sunset. Do it between troupes without wandering off the curb.

If bites are bad, a slightly denser Dalada-facing block sometimes has fewer insects than open lake air — only slide if the path is calm.

Do not abandon a good view for a pharmacy run mid-parade — finish the night then treat.
