Mount Lavinia. Evening showers have been coming and going. Last beach cafe still plating, or hotel leftovers. We are not going to Kandy.

If the cafe is still lit and covered, go. A short walk on the wet promenade is fine. Leftovers if thunder starts again.

Covered cafe two minutes from the hotel, then straight back. Do not hunt a new place down the wet strip.
