Flight tonight. Hotel will hold bags. Partner wants one more sea-bath. I am watching Galle Road fill with the long-weekend return. Ordinary cases already packed.

Dump bags, sit the hotel tea, move toward Fort before the afternoon blob. Galle Road on a return Monday is slow, not closed. A last swim is fine if you leave a clock. Do not invent an expressway shutdown.

We left at ten, Fort by noon-ish. Fine. The extra swim would have been the 400-rupee panic tuk.

Kids: one hour in the pool, not the sea, then go. Pride and a 16:00 board do not mix.
