Hill train, Sunday. Taxi wants a number that feels like a tour. Tuk looks ordinary. We are not in a hurry except leftover rain on the road. Daypacks plus two bigger bags.

Tuk if you have two bags and can split. Taxi if you want one sit and an agreed fare written before you load. Do not pay a tour number for Nanu Oya to Ella. Ask two drivers. The first number is a test. Leftover rain does not invent a surcharge I will quote.
