Sunday 30 Aug, Nanu Oya. Festival crowds going home finished Friday, but Sunday still looks busy. Elder in the group. Two hard-shells we should have dumped. Next seated is later. Standing is now.

Seated later is allowed to win. Unreserved with shells and an elder is a mood, not a plan. I will not invent a cancellation. Ask the station, not a 2019 blog. If you stand, dump the shells in a left-luggage or a tuk to Ella and stop pretending this is light.

We waited. Sat. Fine. Pride would have been in the doorway with a wheel catching ankles.
