National mourning through Sunday - Nanda rites do not cancel 6:28

Just now partner read national mourning through Sunday and asked if Perahera is inappropriate or cancelled. We are at midday lunch. I think rites are real and 6:28 is still scheduled. How do we hold both facts.

Mourning 21-23 Aug (flags half-mast at state institutions). Rites today Nugegoda/3:30 and Borella/5:00. Family: no official state funeral.

Maligawa table still lists 5th Kumbal 6:28 PM Saturday - no cancel this morning.
