Nawalapitiya. Saturday morning after the festival weekend. A tea stall is open and a hill hop is here. Sit the tea, or board this one.

Board if it is already filling and it is the hop you wanted. Tea can be a short one from the stall and onto the step. Waiting for a sit-down is how this one leaves.

We took the hop. Bought two short teas and stood. Next one was thinner and later than the conductor said.

If someone is shaky, sit ten minutes. Do not board hungry and faint on a hill bend.
