Need a pee mid-parade without losing our spot. One adult sprints to a hotel lobby while the other holds the kerb — or is that how you lose the view for good. Not a kids bathroom question, and not a toilet dash before the start.

One adult can hold a clearly marked kerb if they plant bags and do not drift. The lobby sprint only works if the hotel is under a minute away and you already know the door. Agree a WhatsApp ping before anyone leaves.
If the nearest lobby is more than a short jog, accept a thin loss of angle rather than a long absence in the crush.
With kids, send the free adult and keep the child on the held curb — do not send the whole group.
