Need a prayer room or quiet space at CMB or a Colombo mall — who do I ask without fuss?
Traveling with a family member who needs a quiet prayer space between flights at CMB, and later at a Colombo mall. Who do we ask — information desk, security, mosque staff — without making a scene? Practical directions travelers actually use.

At CMB, ask the information desk or uniformed customer-service staff for the prayer room — they are used to the question and will point you without fuss. In larger Colombo malls, the information counter or security near the main entrance can direct you to a prayer room or a quieter corridor if one is available. Keep the ask short and specific. I will not invent an access fee as gospel. A calm one-line request is enough; you do not need a speech.
