Last look at the sea before inland heat. 1 Sep. I have seen August flags on this west beach in photos. Kid will run.

Look at today's pole, not August photos. I will not invent a colour for Negombo at 1:44, and I will not hand you a west marine all-clear either. If it is ugly, sit. The van to Dambulla does not require a swim. Kid knee-deep at most, no inflatable past the first break.

We sat, kid threw sand, van at 7. Fine. Sea was a rumour.
