Blog from years ago. Halt sign at Negombo looks tired. We can tuk to the grown-up station. Leftover rain, bags. Monday 31 Aug. Not trying to invent a stop. If we still hop today with ordinary bags. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Treat Negombo as a maybe halt. The grown-up station is the grown-up board. Do not stand on a maybe with bags in leftover rain. If a train stops, good. If it does not, you already have a tuk plan. Screenshot because inland data dies. I will not invent a 31 Aug timetable.

We took the quieter fork at Negombo. Fine. No one clapped.

We waited until eleven, walked the inside lane. Fine. Flip-flops were a mistake at eight.

Harbour morning, no whale. We drank tea. Pride waited for a guarantee.
