Landed cruel. Partner wants Colombo Fort by breakfast so we can 'start the island'. Kid already asleep on a shoulder. Sunday 30 Aug, leftover humidity, not a cyclone. Guesthouse is ten minutes. Fort is a speech at this hour.

Sleep Negombo. Fort at 01:00 is a pavement and a closed shutter. The coastal in the morning is a board, not a pride project. I will not invent a Sunday-night Pettah that is open for fruit. Dump bags, fan, kettle. Start the island when the kid has a face.

We slept Negombo, took the 07:10 into Fort. Fine. Night hop would have been a mood.
