Saturday 22 Aug, Negombo. Passing cell, shoes the only pair, path already a chute. We are coming down from Nanu Oya the same afternoon. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to pay a desk invention.

A passing cell is not a gazette cancel. Poncho, not umbrella in a crush. Shoes you can dump. Walk if you have grip and the rain has stopped. Pride sprains on slick laterite.
