Newsfirst just put 10:00 AM religious ceremonies at the residence - too late from Kandy
Just now the Newsfirst rites-today piece also says religious ceremonies at her residence at 10:00 this morning. We had 3:30 Nugegoda and 5:00 PM Borella. Partner wants a tuk to the A1 right now. I think 10:00 from Kandy is already a lost clock and 6:28 PM is the honest plan. Leave this minute, or stay.

Newsfirst this morning: residence ceremonies 10:00 AM; public respects until 3:30 PM Nugegoda; Borella 5:00 PM. Treat 10:00 AM as that article's wording, not a family gazette I have seen. Earlier public notes put religious observances at 3:30 PM. From Kandy at eight, 10:00 AM is already tight to gone.
You will not make a 10:00 AM Nugegoda room from this breakfast. 6:28 PM is the street you can actually stand on.
Family said no official state funeral. Flags half-mast at state institutions, not a liquor gazette, not a Perahera off switch.
