Airbnb 900m from the station-ish. Maps says walkable. Colombo 1:15am Tuesday. Two backpacks, one laptop bag. Partner says 'it's Asia, walk'. I say I would like to not test that sentence.

Pay the tuk. 900m on Galle Road at 01:15 with bags is legal and still a bad story. 110/90 hold, so a short hop is a short hop. Agree before you sit. Walking is for daylight Wellawatte with ice cream, not for laptop hour.
