Night bus into Nuwara versus waiting a day for a reserved hill seat that may not appear

We are in Kandy. Reserved for the day after is a rumour at the guesthouse, not a ticket in the hand. Night bus to Nuwara tonight, sleep, or sit a day hoping a reserved appears.

If you need Nuwara, take the night bus and sleep. A reserved hill seat is a product that sells out, not a desk that prints extras because you waited politely. Ask the station in the morning if you want the view another day. Do not camp Kandy on a hope.

Night bus was ordinary. Cold at the Nuwara end. Jumper in the bag.

We waited a day and still stood. Should have moved.

Should have bought the jumper sooner. Same week, ordinary bags.

If leftover light is thin, sit the room you have. Do not copy a December photo.

We did this last week. Ordinary. Fine. We still missed a train and lived.

A rumour is not a timetable. We were on that same road.
