Night desk is still checking people in. We can hear the talk from our room plus the drums. Ask them to hold the talk, or live with it.

Live with it unless it is shouting. Night desks check late walk-ins on a Perahera night. A polite note if it goes on, not a scene.

We lived with it and used the bathroom fan as noise. Ask only if it is still going after you have tried that.

We get the talk. A folded note under the desk blotter is enough. Do not stand there in night clothes arguing.
