Nilaveli leftover chop — swim the lagoon side or sit shade because the open beach is dumping

Sunday 30 Aug, Nilaveli. Open beach has leftover dump. Lagoon-looking bits look calmer. Kid wants in. I do not want a flag argument with a sunbed.

Sit shade if the open beach is dumping. Calmer bits are still not a pool. Stay where you can stand. I am not quoting an official warning colour. Shade before pride. The east is ordinary leftover weather, not a closure I will invent.

We sat, swam knees, mango. Fine. The dump looked worse than the lagoon photo.

Locals sit. Pride walks into dump for a photo and then owns sand in the wrong places.

Pasikudah if you want genuine shallow with a kid. It is a hop, not a myth.
