Nilaveli Monday swim after leaving leftover Kandy — flags or just a quiet east bay
We left Kandy Saturday. No restart, we know. East sand looks calm. Kid wants a proper swim after drums. Is Nilaveli a flag-and-sit morning or can we actually get wet. Ordinary towels.

East in late August is the kinder coast. Nilaveli is a swim if the local posts are quiet. Shade first, then water. Do not invent a Trinco closure. It is a Monday bay, not a festival leftover.
We swam knee to waist. Fine. Kandy is finished. Stop asking cousins about a second Randoli.
If wind chops up, sit. Pride does not need a second sunburn to prove the east works.
Pigeon Island is a ticket boat, not a guarantee of calm. Ask the harbour, not a brochure.
