East coast, finally less rain than the south. Kid wants the island. Walk-up boat touts are already smiling. We can also stand in the shallows and be boring.

Shallows are the family day. Pigeon Island is a boat with a park ticket from the proper desk, not a beach cousin. If you did not sort it yesterday, do not invent a walk-up as a right. August east is often kinder. Still ask the bay. I will not promise fish.

We stood the shallows, skipped the tout. Fine. Island another morning from the office.
