Nine Arch is a morning with a crowd. It is a bridge, not a festival. Stand off the track. Trains still run. I will not invent a 20 Aug halt. If knees are done, skip. Ella Gap five minutes is enough of a view. Hat in the wind.
We skipped, did Haputale gap instead. Cloud sat. Waited. Fine. Pride on ballast is a plaster.
Closed shoes. Mud after leftover rain is ordinary. Little Adam's is steps. Pick one hill thing.
Elder: skip. I walked the edge, stood off the track, left when the crowd thickened. Fine.
