The noon checkout line is actually moving now. We are near the desk. Hold the spot, or one of us steps out for a plate and we risk losing the place.

Hold the spot. A plate can wait twenty minutes. Losing the place in a moving noon line is how you eat standing with the bags still upstairs.

We held. Ten minutes and we were through. The rice shop was still plating when we got there after.

If someone is already faint, send them with a key and no bags. The rest hold. Do not all walk away.
