23 Aug. Sheets smell like hill stone. Host is kind. Two more nights. Trying to sleep, not extract a discount.

Ask for a fan, dry sheets, and a bucket under the known drip. Leftover rain in a hill house is ordinary. A quiet room change if they have one. Do not invent a mould epidemic. If it is still dripping on the bed, move.

Ask two locals. The first number about 'Nuwara Eliya guesthouse still smelling of last night's leak' is a test, not a fee I will invent.
