Arrived from Fort this afternoon. Heat caution down there, jumper weather up here. Guesthouse peg has extras. Shop wants a number that feels like a souvenir. One night.

Borrow the peg or buy a cheap extra if they have none. September nights here are jumper nights. Colombo heat caution does not follow you up the pass. I will not invent a fleece festival. Do not freeze on principle. One layer, sleep, return it.
