Officers are waving the denser late crowd back from the lane. Follow back immediately, or try to hold our curb row. Not short police whistle bursts after 6:44, and not locals darting across gaps.

Follow the wave back immediately — officers manage late denser blocks for safety. Holding a curb row against a clear wave gets you moved anyway and stresses the kids. Re-form one step behind the line they indicate.

Use the wave as your moment to start an outer exit if you were already leaving.

Explain calmly to kids that stepping back is part of watching respectfully.
