Ok can someone explain the head wobble thing. Does yes mean yes?

I keep asking restaurants if they have a dish, they do the side-to-side head thing, and I can't tell if it's yes, no, or 'maybe'. Feel dumb but need clarity.

It's YES. Or 'sure', 'okay', 'got it'. Never 'no'. When they don't have something they'll usually say 'sorry, finished' or shake head clearly side-to-side (proper 'no' shake is more definitive). The wobble is the friendly acknowledgment nod. Wobble back at them, they'll love it.

Ha don't feel dumb, everyone struggles with this. Also fun fact - the wobble can mean 'I hear you but I might not agree'. Not passive-aggressive, just a soft acknowledgment. Context matters. But in the food-ordering context - yes, wobble = we have it.
