One adult peeled for a sealed snack and vanished into the crowd - regroup at shop sign or hotel lobby
One adult peeled for a sealed snack and vanished into the crowd. Regroup at a named shop sign, or give up and meet at the hotel lobby. Not crush-split WhatsApp versus lamp-post, not friend quieter stretch outer pavement, and not elderly split shop landmark for the tusker.

Text a named shop sign you both already passed and wait a fixed short window. If there is no reply, hotel lobby is the honest fallback — hunting deeper into the crush rarely works. Keep kids with the adult who still has the curb.
Do not send a second adult into the same hunt with a sleeping toddler on the shoulder.
If the missing adult has the only phone, the lobby pin is safer than standing in limbo.
