We only see flag-bearers and dancers so far on the curb. How far behind the tusker does that usually mean on First Randoli. Not asking for an official troupe-order programme sheet.

Flag-bearers and early dancers usually mean the tusker is still later in the line — often several segments back, not around the next corner. Keep your curb rather than chasing.

Counting elephants as they pass later is a rough leftover proxy once the bigger animals start — early flags alone do not tell you minutes.

If whips already passed and you are on flags, you are in the middle early stretch — stay.
