We packed our own foldable stool. Where is it OK to unfold for First Randoli without buying a vendor seat or blocking the lane. Not stools buy-versus-rent and not stool tipping.

Unfold only on a wide enough curb set back from the dancer lane, and be ready to fold instantly when police or the cortege need space. Blocking the active edge is what gets you moved. Vendor seats are a different product — your own stool is fine if you stay considerate.

If the curb is already shoulder-to-shoulder, stand — a stool in a crush causes trips.
