Packed a vape in the cabin - will CMB take it off us in 2026 or is the ban just a draft law

Land tonight. UK habit, nicotine, I thought I would be discreet on a balcony. Then I read customs already lift devices and NATA is tightening the act again this year. Do I bin it in Doha or try my luck.

Leave it in Doha. Officers know what a vape looks like. Best case they take it. Worse case you get a conversation you do not want after a night flight. There is nowhere legal to buy liquid here. Cigarettes are the legal (heavily controlled) nicotine, and even those are banned in many public places.

Nicotine gum in the carry-on if you must. Do not post a balcony cloud next to a temple.
