Packing a damp set out of Peradeniya — hang first or own a smelling bag at the next room — write the board, not a leftover rumour

31 Aug, Peradeniya room, leftover rain on the walls. Fan works. Desk says this is ordinary August. Partner wants to move. Ordinary bags. I want the grown-up fork, not the pride fork. Write the board, not a leftover rumour. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Hang the damp set. Fan on. Leftover-rain damp at Peradeniya is ordinary August, not a gazette. If the bed is actually wet, ask to move; if it is just cool walls, sit. Packing wet for a hop is how the next room smells. I will not invent a mould fee or a closure. One night: keep the pin if it is already paid.

We took the quieter fork at Peradeniya. Fine. No one clapped.

Look from the back. Then tea, then the room.

Kettle is enough. Banana if nothing opens. I will not invent a breakfast surcharge.

Walked off the cones, then a tuk. PickMe from the kerb was a joke.
