Washed last night's trousers in the sink. Still dripping this mid-morning. Wring them hard now, or leave them and hope the room air does the rest.

Wring them now, then hang them open. Mid-morning room air will not finish a dripping pair before checkout. Do not put a dryer on wet wool or a festival trouser. It just cooks the smell.

We wrung them into a towel and hung them by the AC. They packed damp-not-wet. Leaving them dripping would have soaked the bag.

If you are staying, leave them after a hard wring. If you are leaving at noon, the towel wrap is the only move.
