We are at Borella in leftover-rain humidity. Beach clothes. Stall has thin prints. Kid wants to go in. I do not want to make the doorway a fitting room. Monday 31 Aug. Ordinary bags. East catch-up versus leftover south flags. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

A proper wrap, not a see-through scarf. If the stall only has thin prints, skip or buy two layers. Shoulders and knees. Do not make the Borella doorway a fitting room. Skip is polite. Inside is not the street. Camera bag at the shoe counter is your problem, not theirs. I will not invent a photography fee. Street is mixed. Be small.

We took the quieter fork at Borella. Fine. No one clapped.

We sat the bakery chairs, walked the terrace after. Fine. One soda was enough.

Pin the main road. Night is not a hunt.

Hang the damp set. Packing wet for a hop is how rooms smell.
