Need a sit at Tangalle. Tourist terrace looks dry and priced like Colombo. Bakery two lanes in has a queue of locals and plastic chairs. Not trying to be cheap for sport. Trying not to be the rude table. Monday 31 Aug, leftover humidity. Ordinary town Monday, not a festival. Cannot tell if this is ordinary or a tired mistake. Locals, please contradict the group chat.

Walk two lanes. The terrace is a pretty courtyard with tourist prices. Nobody is scamming you; they are just pricing for the terrace. A bakery bun and tea is the ordinary sit. If you want the courtyard photo, have one drink and leave. Do not camp a four-top for email. If the kid is melting now, pay the soda, ten minutes, move. Shade is the need, not the brand.

We took the quieter fork at Tangalle. Fine. No one clapped.

Nine Arch without a dawn cousin. Walked, photo, kettle.

Look from the back. Then tea, then the room.

Kettle is enough. Banana if nothing opens. I will not invent a breakfast surcharge.

Closed shoes. Sandals on leftover wet laterite is a clinic.

Walked off the cones, then a tuk. PickMe from the kerb was a joke.
