Sunday 30 Aug, Pasikudah. Guesthouse said you can walk forever. Kid is four. I have been lied to by brochures before. Leftover weather on the east. I want a local, not a sunbed.

It is genuinely shallow on a calm day. Leftover chop still makes a four-year-old eat water. Walk with them. No inflatables past where you can stand. I will not invent a bay fee or a closure. Shade at noon. The guesthouse is not lying about flat. They are omitting chop.

We did knees, then lunch. Fine. Pride would have floated a ring toward the horizon.
