Pasikudah at lunch. Water looks still and grey. Beach cafe is open. Town shop is inland. Cafe for the water, or the inland plate.

Inland plate if you want rice-and-curry. Beach cafe if you already walked to the sand and you only want a short sit. Do not pay beach prices for a thin sandwich when you are actually hungry.

We went inland. Better plate. The cafe would have been a view of still grey water and not much food.

If the kids already sat on the cafe step, order there. Walking inland with tired children is a poor save.
