21 Aug, one dumped suitcase at the room, daypacks for the pin. Path looks like a mud chute. Driver wants a tour number. Day bags, not suitcases.

Pay a short hop if the path is slick and you have a kid. Walk if you have grip and the rain has stopped. Leftover shorebreak: foam board in the whitewater or sit the bay. Do not pay a tour number for a ten-minute hill. Agree the fare before you sit.

Ask two locals near Weligama lesson desk. The first number about lesson desk is a test, not a fee I will invent.

We took the quieter fork toward Ahangama. Fine. No one clapped.

Elder move: plate, shade, then decide. Weligama lesson desk will still be there. Shade before pride.

Kids: leave when they melt. Pride turns lesson desk into a timetable.
