Notes are thin after the airport hop. Pettah bank door already has a line of people who thought the same. Fort station machines might be faster. Card still works at the guesthouse but we need cash for tuks and fruit.

Walk toward Fort station first. Pettah bank-door machines follow a timetable and run out when everyone lands on a leftover-rain Sunday. If both fail, a second bank on York Street, not a cousin with a POS. Do not invent a Colombo-wide cash shutdown. It is queues.
